How do I get referred?

You can see your GP for a referral or if you are a Southern Cross member then you can self refer.

Either we will contact you if you have been referred by a GP or another Specialist.Alternatively use the “Enquire” buttons in this website.

Yes we have carparks at all facilities.

How much will my surgery cost?

Richard and his team can provide a price range for your chosen surgery. This depends on the type of procedure and anaesthesia, which hospital and how long you want to stay in hospital. At your initial consultation, we will give you a quote, in detail, for your chosen procedure. This will include a surgeon’s fee, anaesthetist fee, imaging fees and the hospital fees.

What do I bring to appointment?

We will have your referral letter and information. Please bring your list of medications and allergies. You may wish to bring a support person and a note pad.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time to fill out registration forms.

Should I do anything before a procedure?

After most local anaesthetic procedures you can drive, however you may wish to have a driver. Please take two paracetamol 1 hour before any procedure to help with the injections.

What can I expect at my initial consultation?

At your appointment with Richard he will typically:- Take your history of the condition- Perform a physical examination- Discuss about your surgical options- Receive detailed information about your surgery- Go through the possible risks and complications associated with your surgery- Discuss about costs and available dates- Help with your insurance approval
